Yadiel Calderon-Pizarro 21, killed, Rodney Manwaring 49, flown to hospital, after their two respective cars collide on U.S. 301 in Hillsborough County.

Hillsborough County officials were on the scene of a deadly two-car crash in Thonotosassa on U.S. Highway 301 Monday morning.

Sheriff's Office says the crash occurred around 9:45 a.m. Monday morning just north of Stacy Road. Highway 301 has been closed in both directions due the crash.

Officials say 22-year-old Yadiel Calderon-Pizarro of Tampa was killed and the driver of the second vehicle, 49-year-old Rodney Manwaring of New York, was airlifted to Tampa General Hospital via Medevac.
