Ian Madeleine of Algonac was pronounced dead at McLaren Macomb Hospital following a 7:10 a.m. crash on I-94 near 21 Mile in Chesterfield Township. According to witnesses, Madeleine was driving erratically in his 2008 Hummer H3 before he hit the shoulder and guardrail, causing the vehicle to flip, and he was thrown through the sunroof. The accident remains under investigation.
