Salt Lake City, UTA traffic accident near Vernal killed one person on Monday, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.
UHP authorities said that a car driven by Monte Mitchell 36, and a semi truck collided on U.S. Route 40 about 8 miles east of Vernal near mile marker 153.
One person died in the crash, but authorities did not immediately release any information about that person’s identification Monday afternoon.
