Salt Lake City, UTThe Utah Highway Patrol is reporting that parts of Highway 6 near Spanish Fork had to be shut down Saturday night due to a car accident. Troopers say a woman drove off the road and crashed into a power line.
Several other power lines collapsed, causing officials to shut down the highway. The road was closed in both directions until the downed power lines were removed. Officials have now re-opened the highway.

Denver, COInvestigators are looking for a driver who ran down a man and then sped off in Avon.
Police say the hit-and-run was at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on Highway 6 near the entrance to Beaver Creek.
So far no witnesses have come forward.
The man was taken to a hospital in Vail but is expected to recover.
