Dayton, OHAn overturned semitrailer at the intersection of East Hoop Road and Bickett Road left the driver trapped in the cab in Xenia, Ohio. The accident occured around 6:00p.m.when the truck was allegedly forced off the road, then overturned. Cox, the driver of the truck, was transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and has since been determined to have been impaired by drugs or alcohol during the crash.

Dayton, OHCarl Schmedeke, who was driving the dump truck, lost control as he tried to avoid a car that had slowed to make a left turn; the dump truck began to overturn. Unfortunately, right as this was happening, Judith Sandlin was underneath the tipping truck in a minivan. Judith managed to not be completely destroyed by the truck by swerving to the right, but it still pinned her inside her car. Fortunately, the worst injury she suffered was a broken wrist.
