Two teenagers were killed and several people were injured in a traffic collision at Northwest 53rd Avenue late Saturday night. Two cars collided in an accident involving six people. An SUV and a sedan, each carrying three people, crashed near 3300 NW 53rd Ave. The occupants of the sedan were trapped inside the car and unresponsive when paramedics arrived. Emily Elizabeth Cook, 15, and Ashley Ertle, 13, were both pronounced deceased at the crash site. Sedan driver Jeffrey Lee Ertle, 40, sustained multiple traumatic injuries.
