BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. —

A 53-year-old Palm Bay man was killed after he was ejected from his vehicle during a roll-over crash on Interstate 95 in Brevard County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.

Gary Smith was driving south in the far right lane of I-95 at about 2:17 a.m. Monday, when a 2012 Jeep driven by Justin Looman, 29, of West Melbourne, tried to merge into the lane, FHP said.

The front right of Looman’s Jeep struck the left rear of Smith’s vehicle, causing it to roll over several times, investigators said.
