Wednesday, February 11, 2015Authorities say alcohol was found inside the truck whose driver, Josh Leroy Smith, caused a wrong-way collision that killed four people on Interstate 85 Wednesday evening in the northbound lanes. The crash involved six vehicles and 12 people. Three people were pronounced deceased at the crash site, and another later died. The deceased have been identified as Martha Marie Diaz of Tinsley Heights Dr., Josh Leroy Smith of Sawyer Rd., Shiree Lynette Whitaker of Pierpont Ave Ext. Edwin Ferguson of Fernwood Glendale Rd. died later at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.
