Dayton, OHAngel Rojas, 19, was driving a car with four other passengers on Columbia Avenue when he somehow lost control of the vehicle, departed the roadway, and struck a utility pole. The collision killed two of the backseat passengers, identified as Tristin Sherman, 18, and Juan Compton, 21, who were pronounced dead at the scene. The other backseat passenger, Devin B. Moore, 19, has been hospitalized with serious injuries, while Ashley N. Predmore, 18, sustained minor injuries.

Dayton, OHJessica Crim of Springfield was killed and her brother was seriously hurt in after a Ford Focus struck a tree just after 11 a.m. on Old Columbus Road in Harmony Township, according to the Ohio State Highway Patrol. The driver, Daniel Crim, was transported to Miami Valley Hospital by squad despite requests for a medical helicopter to the Clark County crash site; the request could not be fulfilled due to harsh conditions.
