One-year-old Kael Dame killed by car in parking lot at Huntress Park ball field in Clay Center, Kansas

The Kansas Highway Patrol says a 1-year-old child died after being hit by a car in a parking lot. The patrol says Kael Dame of Clay Center died in the accident Monday night at the Huntress Park ball field in Clay Center. The car driven by 58-year-old Peggy Ward, also of Clay Center, was leaving the parking lot when the accident occurred. Further details of the accident were not immediately released.
