A Magnolia man in critical condition after two-vehicle collision about 4:20 p.m. Saturday in a on Calhoun Street. A Ford Ranger and a Honda sedan smashed into each other at the intersection of Calhoun and Harper, sending both vehicles into the ditch on the north side of Calhoun Street. The Honda struck a tree and the Ranger soon came to a stop. The driver of the ranger was severely hurt and taken to Magnolia Regional Medical Center. The identities of those in the accident are not released at this time.

Linda Joyce Morgan, 71, was driving a 2014 model Buick east on U.S. 82 when her vehicle collided with the left rear of a westbound 2007 model Mack truck, driven by Kenneth W. Dixon.

Austin Blake Glass, 19, killed, driver Blaine Acklin, 22, 3 other passengers injured, all taken to hospital, after their pickup left the County Road 53 roadway and crashed into a tree.

A single-vehicle wreck Wednesday night in Columbia County left a man dead and four people injured, the Arkansas State Police said.

A 1999 Ford truck driven by Blaine Acklin, 22, of Magnolia was driving west on Columbia County Road 53 about 11 p.m. when the pickup failed to negotiate a curve, left the road and hit a tree, according to a preliminary state police accident report.

A passenger, Austin Blake Glass, 19, of Emerson, was pronounced dead early Thursday at Magnolia Regional Medical Center, state police said.
