Sunday, May 31, 2015Around 9 p.m. Sunday, Moraga police were following an Acura Integra that had been stolen from Concord. The officers tailed the car down St. Marys Road toward Lafayette, but did not sound their sirens as they coordinated with Lafayette police officers.

Wednesday, April 15, 2015A police officer in Martinez saw a motorcyclist speeding on Highway 4 and attempted to pull them over. However, the motorcyclist continued on the highway and accelerated, reaching an estimated speed of 100 mph. The motorcyclist was eventually stopped when they were involved in a multi-vehicle collision near the connector ramp to southbound Interstate 680. There were traffic delays on the highway while the investigation took place.

Thursday, February 20, 2014A man was arrested for driving under the influence after crashing into a car and light pole and fleeing the scene in Antioch on Friday night.
Police said around 7:15 p.m., a 48-year-old man was driving near the intersection of A and West Third streets when he crossed into the opposite lane of traffic and struck a car.
After the crash the man kept driving, only coming to a stop after he hit a light pole and his car became disabled, police said. Police said he then exited the car and ran.
