Authorities have released a description of the vehicle that hit and killed a 14-year-old girl early Monday on the city's East Side. Chelsea A. Hill was walking about 12:55 a.m. at Carnegie Avenue and East 40th Street when a car hit her and then fled from the crash site. She died arriving at MetroHealth Medical Center. Video revealed the car is dark-colored, of quality, and well maintained, and appears to be made after 2000. It will have damage to a headlight and fog lamp assembly. Investigators are working to identify the car's make and model.
