Saturday, May 16, 2015Darrin Odey was riding a motorcycle on Interstate 80 when he began to exit at the Gothenburg interchange. Odey's bike went off the road and struck a culvert, rolling several times. Authorities say that health factors were a contributing factor to the accident. The motorcycle was totalled, and Odey was taken to CHI Good Samaritan Health in Kearney for treatment.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015Three people were killed and several other people were injured when an eastbound vehicle travelling on Interstate 80 near Cozad, Nebraska crossed the center median and collided with a vehicle travelling westbound around 6:30 p.m. on February 25.
The Nebraska State Patrol shut down the area where the accident happened. Two patients were airlifted to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney and another four were brought to local hospitals.
