A massive 40-vehicle pileup on the New Jersey Turnpike Monday night left one motorist dead and at least 61 others injured. Darryl C. Williams, 52, of Bordentown was trapped in his Toyota Corolla as a result of the chain-reaction crash. He was Found dead at the site of the pileup. The accident happened at 9:11 p.m. at milepost 71.4 in Cranbury, Flynn said. The icy conditions there and across the Northeast are the main cause of this large accident. Twenty-one vehicles were involved in multiple crashes in the inner lanes.
