Tampa-St. Petersburg, FLTampa Police are investigating a fatal traffic accident involving a pedestrian early Monday morning on North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa.
The accident happened near West Cherry Street. Police said a pedestrian was hit and killed there. They have not released the pedestrian's name or what kind of vehicle was involved.
TPD officers continue to investigate.
