Chicago, ILA wrong-way driver collided with a tractor trailer early Thursday on the Chicago Skyway, spilling diesel fuel and closing all southbound lanes for more than an hour on the South Side.
A female driving in a black Infinity northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 90 crashed with the semi about 1:30 a.m. near 76th Street, said a police News Affairs Officer.
The truck spilled diesel fuel, causing a HazMat situation that temporarily closed all southbound lanes, Greer said. The expressway was reopened about 2:55 a.m.

Spokane, WAA Spokane woman who drove the wrong way on Interstate 90 early Sunday caused an accident that sent her and two others to the hospital. Ashley R. Daily, 30, was driving a 2000 Honda Accord westbound in the eastbound lanes between Post Falls and Coeur d’Alene about 12:26 a.m., the Idaho State Police said. Daily hit head-on a 2013 Hyundai Genesis driven by Victor J. DeLeon, 38, of Hayden. Neither one was wearing a seat belt, and both were taken to Kootenai Health for treatment, police said.
