Sunday, January 26, 2014A stretch of southbound US-131 was shut down for a time south of Schoolcraft Monday due to a 13-vehicle crash.
The wreck involved 12 cars and a semi-truck, according to Michigan State Police, and shut down the highway for about two hours.
No one was hurt, MSP said.
The crash was caused by a limited visibility due to blowing snow.
Police advised avoiding southbound US-131 near Schoolcraft because blowing snow has continued to cause poor visibility.
