Bakersfield, CAA gasoline tanker truck was involved in an accident with five other vehicles on Highway 58. Six people were reported injured, though none of the injuries were deemd life-threatening. No fuel spilled from the tanker truck. Check back for updates.

Bakersfield, CAAccording to officers, Maureen Deandra was traveling at high speed on Highway 58 when she made an unsafe turning movement in an attempt to overtake a Jeep. She instead collided with the Jeep, both vehicles veered into the center divider wall, and Deandra's vehicle rolled several times. a 7-year-old child was ejected from one of the vehicles during the crash. He died in the crash, and two other people, the 35-year-old driver of the Jeep and a 13-year-old passenger, were hospitalized.
