A 29-year-old Amish woman and her three children were riding in a buggy in rural Kosciusko County when they were rear-ended by a pickup. The force of the impact caused the buggy to veer into a ditch. The woman and her children, ages 4, 2, and an infant, were taken to Goshen General Hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the pickup, Jeffrey D. Lanning, 25, said he became distracted and didn't see the buggy until it was too late.
