It was about 5:30 a.m. when a northbound vehicle on U.S. 421 driven by a 44-year-old man collided with a car containing two men, ages 40 and 43, and two minors: a 10-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl. The two men and the boy all sustained critical injuries and were taken to the hospital via helicopter, and two other victims were less severely injured and transported by ambulance.
