Ft. Myers-Naples, FLAuthorities are investigating a three-vehicle crash on Fowler Street near the intersection of Franklin Street in Fort Myers. Several lanes of Fowler Street will be closed while officers conduct the investigation. The road is expected to be completely open again around 3 p.m.

Ft. Myers-Naples, FLCindy Lou Gutierrez was driving on Burnt Store Road just be fore 3 a.m. when her car traveled off the road and rolled over several times. Gutierrez, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Ft. Myers-Naples, FLRoberto Lopez Jr. 10, of Tampa, died from injuries sustained on Sunday afternoon in Lee County, Florida. During the accident, a 2004 Chevy Trailblazer lost control and overturned on I-75 near the Alico Road exit near mile marker 127. Apparently, the vehicle's tire's tread separated, causing the driver, 55-year-old Roberto Lopez, to lose control. The vehicle overturned several times, ejecting the 10-year-old. The boy was transported to Lee Memorial, where he died.
