Columbia, SCCorey Trawick, 32, of Lexington, was killed in the collision which happened at about 8:40 p.m. when a vehicle driven by Trawick turned onto U.S. 1 from Bruton Smith Road and collided with a vehicle traveling south on U.S. 1. Trawick was pronounced deceased at the crash site, and a passenger in Trawick's vehicle was injured. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.
