A bus carrying the men's and women's bowling teams of Indiana Tech was driving on Interstate 65 when the vehicle swerved to the right and overturned. There were 16 bowling team members onboard, as well as the bus driver, the team's coach and his wife. Eight people suffered minor injuries and were taken to Scott County Hospital. Those most seriously hurt were taken to University of Louisville Hospital, many of whom were airlifted. The exact number of people hurt is unknown, but there were no fatalities at the crash scene.
