On Saturday afternoon, 12-year-old Olivia L. Grossnickle was driving a UTV on 24th Road about a half east of K-63 Highway with her mother Marsha Grossnickle in the passenger seat when Olivia lost control of the vehicle on the loose gravel. Both were thrown from the vehicle. Olivia was brought to the Nemaha Valley Communtiy Hospital in Seneca, where she was pronounced dead. Marsh Grossnickle was minorly injured.
