Detroit, MITwo teenagers were seriously injured Friday night in a single-vehicle collision on Dixie Highway in Springfield Township, and the 33-year-old Holly woman who was driving was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. The crash occurred when the Dodge Ram pickup truck the women were traveling in exited the road, rolled, and hit a tree and a telephone pole. One passenger, 15, was ejected. She was listed in critical condition Monday. The other passenger, 15, of Springfield Township, was listed in serious but stable condition.

Detroit, MICrystal Lynette Duncan was driving north on M-10 at around 6:10 p.m. when she lost control of her vehicle and struck the left median wall. Witnesses say that the car was moving at a high speed when it struck the wall. Duncan was killed in the accident. No one else was injured. Police believe that high speed and alcohol are likely factors in this collision.
