A 4-year-old boy was on the roadway of South 57th Street when he was struck by a black SUV at about 6:30pm, which sent him 15 feet down the roadway. The car did not stop, and ran over the boy as it fled the scene going north on 57th. A surveillance camera caught the incident on video, and police are using that evidence to attempt to find the driver, currently identified only as a woman.
