A car crashed into a house on 18th Avenue South and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard shortly after 5 a.m. According to St. Pete police, the driver was on MLK when suddenly their vehicle veered off of the road, bashed through a fence, and crashed into the duplex before catching fire. No one was inside the home at the time. The driver was lying on the ground outside of the vehicle, severely hurt when the first responders arrived and brought the driver to a local hospital.
