John Marcus Haney, 52, hit and killed by a pickup while walking near Combee Road in Lakeland, Florida

John Marcus Haney was walking on the shoulder of US 92 east near Combee Road when he was struck by a pickup driven by Paul Marx, 41. Haney was killed in the crash. Speed does not appear to be a factor in the crash. The investigation continues.
