Riverside, CATwo people have died from injuries suffered in a collision in Thermal, Friday. Paula Ureste, a 56-year-old Coachella woman, died on the scene of the accident at soutbound Grapefruit Blvd. just south of Palm, before 2 p.m. The second victim, 23-year-old Rodolfo Arellano of Mecca, died at Desert Regional Medical Center later that evening. The crash involved a green Chevrolet SUV and a white Chevrolet Astro Van. One person is still in the hospital with major injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in this collision.
