Thursday, April 2, 2015A Hayward motorcyclist is the victim of a hit-and-run collision with an SUV that caused him to fall dozens of feet to his death Thursday near the intersection of Highways 101 and Highway 92. The hit-and-run vehicle is described as a green Jeep or similar SUV. Larry Chris Pack was traveling south on Highway 10 at about 5:50 p.m. when the SUV changed lanes and collided with Pack's Harley-Davidson. That crash propelled the motorcycle into a side railing, and threw the rider off the overcrossing. He fell at least 80 feet to his death.

Thursday, December 4, 2014Police are looking for the hit-and-run driver who hit and killed a 78-year-old male pedestrian in Daly City Thursday night.The pickup truck driver hit Jose Euan Rosel of Daly City, on State Highway 35 near Westridge Avenue around 11:30 p.m.The driver left the scene after hitting Rosel and remains at large. Rosel died from his injuries. A witness described the truck as a full-size American-made pickup truck, possibly a Ford or Chevrolet, with a ladder rack.
