Monterey-Salinas, CAArturo Avalos, 22, from Watsonville, was the Mercedes driver who died in a collision on Freedom Boulevard on Sunday night. Also killed were Teresita Brady, 19, Osbaldo Melgoza-Oritz, 18, and a 16-year-old Watsonville girl, who has not yet identified. Two more passengers in the Mercedes, an 18-year-old woman from Marina and a 21-year-old man from Watsonville, remained in critical condition. The 56-year-old Aptos man who was the driver of a Ford F-150 in the collision also is listed in severe condition at Santa Clara Valley Medical Center on Monday.
