A Thursday night crash on Murphy Lake Boulevard near the intersection of Sunset Lake Road in Credit River Township left one teen dead and two critically injured in Scott County. According to the Scott County Sheriff’s Office, a vehicle driven by 18-year-old Austin Bradley Knudson was northbound on Murphy Lake Boulevard when it departed the road and struck a tree. Anna Mary Bird of Savage was pronounced dead at the scene. Knudson and a front seat passenger, Sydney Marie Sloan of Prior Lake, were transported to Hennepin County Medical Center with critical injuries.
