A 75-year-old male driver is dead after colliding into a light pole at the central interchange in Akron, Ohio Friday evening. The man was driving west on Interstate 78 toward the Interstate 77 interchange when he collided with the large light pole after veering off the right side of the road. Emergency responders found him dead at the site of the accident. The crash is still under investigation and the man's identity has not been released.
