A Leesburg motorcyclist was killed early Tuesday morning in Sumter County when a car allegedly turned in front of him, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. David R. Fenne, 50, died at Leesburg Regional Medical Center. The other driver, Carmen Berneatha Small, 55, of Coleman, was taken to the same hospital with minor injuries. The crash occurred about 6:40 a.m. Tuesday on County Road 470, just in front of the Federal Correctional Complex.
