It was about 2:24 a.m. when a man in his 70's as identified Nick Bacareza and his two friends, only identified as Tony and Pete, also in their 70's, were heading west on Highway 50 when their pickup truck collided with a wrong-way driver that was going east in the westbound lanes. The truck caught fire, and Bacareza and his two friends, along with the woman who was driving the wrong way, were all killed in the wreck. Check back for updates on this developing story.

Burt and LaCourse were both in an amateur-built Wheeler Express airplane on Wednesday afternoon when they crash landed near Kersey, CO in Weld County and both died. The crash also ignited a small fire which was quickly extinguished by the fire department as they responded to the scene.

A 70-year-old man is charged in connection with a fiery collision on the Lodge Freeway that killed a pregnant woman and her unborn child. The man is facing a moving violation causing death charge, a misdemeanor punishable by up to one year in jail. Kayla Lucille White died Nov. 11 when her vehicle was rear-ended. The Liberty collided with two other vehicles before overturning and catching fire. White was about to have a baby boy. The name of the at-fault driver has not been released.
