Monday, March 23, 2015Dolicia Meregildo was driving on State Road 415 near Lemon Bluff Road with her children in the back seat when she suffered some type of medical episode and traveled across the northbound lanes, hitting a fence. She was taken to Central Florida Regional Hospital where she later died. How many children were in the car and if they were injured has not been released.

Saturday, December 13, 2014A 61-year-old Ormond Beach motorcyclist died Saturday when his motorcycle was struck by a vehicle driven by an elderly woman in Volusia County. The motorcyclist, Robert Clayton, died after being transported to the hospital. Katherine Johnson, 82, was heading southbound on State Road 415 and was turning left on SR 44 when she cut in front of Clayton's motorcycle, which was going northbound. Clayton attempted to avoid a collision by braking and laying the motorcycle on the ground, but he was still hit. He was not wearing a helmet.
