Cleveland-Akron, OHHigh school senior Sara Weikert, 18, was killed in a two-vehicle collision on Route 57 in Orrville. Weikert was driving a 2002 Dodge Stratus south on Route 57 when she crashed head-on with another car. Linford Falb, 67, of Orrville, was driving a 2010 Hyundai Elantra northbound. He was flown to Akron City Hospital. His current condition is not currently being reported. The Ohio State Highway Patrol Crash Reconstruction Unit is investigating. The cause of the collision is still under investigation.

Cleveland-Akron, OHA 9-year-old child was the victim of a hit-and-run accident Thursday night on Shrock Road in Orrville, Ohio. The incident occured around 7:30 p.m. on October 23. The child is reported to be "ok".

Cleveland-Akron, OHMartha Smith is dead following a crash Saturday afternoon in Wayne County. The Ashland Post of the Highway Patrol says the accident happened when a 1998 Ford Explorer was southbound on I-71, lost control and overturned. Two passengers were ejected from the vehicle during the accident, including Martha Smith. The other passenger, Destiny Curlee is listed in critical condition and the driver Stephen Barnett was taken to MetroHealth Medical Center in stable condition.

Cleveland-Akron, OHA woman died after a car crash in Wayne County Thursday.
Mary K. Durbin Aken, 60, of New Philedelphia, was driving east on U.S. 250 west of County Road 44 and lost control, sliding sideways into the path of an oncoming car, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said.
The oncoming car had a snow plow on the front, which entered Durbin Aken's car and struck her.
Durbin Aken was pronounced dead on the scene. The other driver was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
