At 6 a.m. at the intersection of Highway 133 and Highway 112, known as Shanklin's Corner, two cars collided after one did not stop at a stop sign. The driver of one vehicle, Brionna Royale Vickers, was injured. A passenger in her car, Shatiena Hatcher, was killed in the impact. A juvenile in the car was injured and has not yet been identified. The driver of the other car was airlifted to Archbold Medical Center in Thomasville, and has been identified as William Wayne Rice.
