Monday, December 30, 201317-year-old Hayleigh Borton is in critical condition after a car crash in Lowell Township Wednesday morning.
It happened in the 11000 block of 36th Street SE.
According to police, 18-year-old Alexandra Tremblay was driving a Ford Taurus west on 36th Street when she tried to avoid a pickup truck that had stopped on the road to help a driver who had gone into a ditch.
Tremblay was not injured, but the girl in the front passenger seat was seriously injured. She was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
