A rollover crash Thursday evening on eastbound Interstate 84 killed a 9-year-old girl and sent six other people to nearby hospitals. Four of those hospitalized after the crash were children. One of them, a 7-year-old, was taken by helicopter. The driver somehow lost control of the vehicle around 7:30 p.m., on a section of the freeway near Troutdale airport, said a spokesperson for the Troutdale Police Department. The SUV rolled and ended up on its roof in the grassy median between the eastbound and westbound lanes.
