Delaware State Police have identified the man who was critically hurt after ramming his car into a parked tractor trailer along I-95 on Friday night, closing part of the highway for hours.

Twan Money, of Newark, Del., was driving his red 2009 Chevy Aveo southbound on the highway near the exit for Route 141 in New Castle, Del. around 7:40 p.m. on Friday when the crash occurred, state police said.

Newark Police are investigating a serious six-car crash that left an eight-month-old girl hospitalized in critical condition Thursday. It happened around 11 a.m. on Capital Trail at the Windy Hills Bridge. Police say a southbound Dodge Neon operated by a 36-year-old woman, with two small children inside, slid on the icy roadway and into the path of a northbound Honda Accord, operated by a 75-year-old man with a 75-year-old female passenger. The Neon was struck on the passenger side by the front of the Accord.

Police say a Clayton man was drunk and speeding when he lost control of his car and crashed into a retention pond in New Castle, Delaware. The crash occurred shortly before 6 p.m. Friday. New Castle County police say the driver, 41-year-old Robert Blisard, hit the rear bumper of another vehicle, causing him to lose control of his car and crash into the pond located off the east bound lanes of Commons Boulevard near Reads Way. The driver of the other vehicle and a passenger in Blisard’s car were treated for minor injuries.
