A man was killed after police say he was ejected from a vehicle that slammed into a SEPTA station in South Philadelphia. Police say the 54-year-old man was speeding eastbound on Oregon Avenue around 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, made a left turn onto Broad Street and then lost control of his vehicle. The man’s vehicle went over the median and smashed into the Oregon SEPTA Station, ejecting him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say the crash caused heavy damage to the car but minimum damage to the building. No one else was inside the car at the time and no one else was hurt.
