Officials in Roy say people in a car that was struck by a train hopped out of the vehicle right before it was hit. No one was injured in the Monday night collision. Roy police say the car turned onto the Union Pacific tracks about 9:45 p.m. A southbound train approached and struck it from behind. The Salt Lake Tribune reports the car was lodged under the front of the train, which pushed it nearly a mile south before it came to a stop.
