Mika Baird, 30, Lesley Martinez, 31, killed, after their SUV loses a tire and crashes head-on into another vehicle on 96th Street and Zionsville Road in Zionsville, Indiana

Two people were killed in a crash near 96th Street and Zionsville Road Tuesday afternoon. The crash happened around 1 p.m. Zionsville police say a Ford Explorer lost its right rear wheel due to lug nuts not being tightened, crossed the center line and struck another vehicle head-on. Police identified the victims as 30-year-old Mika Baird and 31-year-old Lesley Martinez, both of Indianapolis. The driver of the Chevy was not hurt. Investigators say everyone was wearing their seat belts.
