A 9-year-old child was the victim of a hit-and-run accident Thursday night on Shrock Road in Orrville, Ohio. The incident occured around 7:30 p.m. on October 23. The child is reported to be "ok". 

64-year-old pedestrian Donald Brown killed in hit-and-run crash at Cullen Boulevard and Knoxville Street in Houston, TX, driver taken into custody

A 64-year old man identified as Donald Brown was struck and killed in a crosswalk Thursday at Cullen Boulevard and Knoxville Street in Houston, TX.  The driver of a Volkswagen Beetle, Edwin Jerome Watson, hit the man and did not stop at the scene. Police later apprehended the driver in Pearland, after a tip.
