One person injured after car strikes parked police cruiser on 17th and Ludlow Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

A car sideswiped a police car in Center City this morning sending one person to the hospital. According to Philadelphia Police, a Nissan Altima crashed into the parked police cruiser at 17th and Ludlow Street -- Ludlow is between Market and Chestnut Streets around 8:15 a.m. One person was taken to Hahnemann Hospital for treatment, according to dispatchers. It wasn’t clear if the injured person was a civilian or a police officer.
