Northbound lanes of State Route 125 at San Miguel Ranch Road in Bonita were shut down Friday morning after a fatal chain-reaction crash involving as many as four cars.

The rollover collision that demolished a Jaguar and left the driver, later identified as Christian Franco, 37, ejected on the roadway was reported about 1:45 a.m., the California Highway Patrol said.

It appears that the driver of the Jaguar lost control of the car and crashed into the guard rail. Drivers in the other vehicles could not avoid the wreckage and crashed into it, the CHP said.
