Pilot and passenger critically injured after their twin-engine aircraft crashes into a Lowe's parking lot short of the Kay Larkin Airfield in Palatka, Florida

A single-engine plane crash landed behind the Palatka Lowe's store on Friday morning and authorities try to figure out what cause the planed to go down about 1,500 feet short of the runway at Kay Larkin Field. Authorities say two men aboard the Cessna 400 were injured -- both flown by air ambulance to UF Health/Shands in Gainesville, where the passenger was reported to have life-threatening injuries.
