Friday, December 5, 2014Jackie Lee Blanding was walking home on Anderson Drive when he was struck by Jon Daughenbaugh who was driving a pickup truck. He was declared dead at the scene. Daughenbaugh did not realize he had hit someone until he got home and saw the damage on his vehicle and heard sirens. He was reportedly under the influence of alcohol at the time.
